Creative Writing Workshops

Everything is familiar. Nothing is as it seems.

A young girl can see into the future. A washed-up stranger dreams a man into existence.

From its Latin American post-colonial roots, magic realism has spread across the world. From Isabel Allende and Jorge Luis Borges to Haruki Murakami and Tenacious D, this genre has beguiled artists and readers the world over.

Join us on board as we dive into a genre where dream, metaphor and reality merge. Through discussion, readings and writing exercises, discover a rich literary world where the extraordinary meets the everyday.
